Dave Dillon, Jr.
Funeral Director / Previous Owner
Dave joined the family firm in September 1962, after completing studies at Missouri Southern State College and graduating from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. Dave held all the elective offices in the Missouri Funeral Directors Association, including two terms as State President. He served as District Governor in the National Funeral Directors Association, representing six states on the national board. In 1993, he was elected President of the National Funeral Directors Association, and during that time he played a key role in advising Congress and several state legislatures as they enacted laws improving funeral service for the consumer.
Meeting funeral directors from all across the country during his term as national president, Dave brought back an expanded understanding of funeral preferences and customs unique to different religious and ethnic communities. This enables us to offer a variety of planning options to families we are privileged to serve.
Dave has been active in many church organizations and civic groups, including Jaycees, Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Martha, have two children and five grandchildren.
Dave is enjoying his retirement and he always looks forward to helping on funeral services as needed.
